Speaking to OK! Online, the 31-year-old added that she plans to marry her fiancé Richard James by the end of the year.
She said: "It's really funny because I'll go into hospital and we'll talk about the plans together to try and change the subject. We were full steam ahead doing it all and then obviously this [hospitalisation] delayed us a bit, but we're still going to get married this year."
She added: "Everyone says you need a year to plan a wedding and I'm like, 'No, I plan events all the time, don't worry about it. It will be fine.'"
Piper and her long-term partner James announced their engagement in December 2014. The news came just six months after they welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Belle Elizabeth.
