Nicola McLean has reportedly reunited with her estranged husband Tom Williams.
The couple's relationship hit the headlines last summer after Williams was accused of being unfaithful. They had a less than amicable split – with their arguments often spilling over onto social media. A few months later, in November 2014, McLean then publicly confirmed her marriage to the former footballer had ended. However, while the couple vowed to try and remain civil for the sake of their children, speculation is mounting that they have actually reunited and plan to give their marriage a second chance.
Taking to Instagram, Williams shared a photo of his wife looking into the distance. He captioned the image: "This is my girl and my life – what a women (sic), wife and mum #therewillbehaters".
It is not clear if the couple are officially back together.
Last year, video footage emerged which revealed Williams, who runs a concierge business in Las Vegas, getting close to a mystery female. It was later alleged that he had been unfaithful to his wife while he was in the US city.
In July 2014, McLean had hinted that the couple were going through a troubled patch when she publicly appealed via Twitter for her husband to come home to her and their two children. Due to his business, Williams can spend weeks at a time in the US and it is thought on this occasion, he had failed to return home when he said he would. In the months that followed, the couple's marriage had fallen apart, with McLean saying in November that their marriage was "dead".
McLean, 33, and Williams, 34, tied the knot in June 2009. They have two sons together – Rocky and Striker.
