Appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week, the former Friends' actress added that the couple are still engaged – and that her daughter Coco wants to plan their big day.
The 50-year-old told the host that her little girl "is very excited about the wedding".
"She's 10 but she wants to do everything," she continued. "She wants to be the maid of honour. She wants to be the flower girl, all the bridesmaids; she's just very excited."
Cox and McDaid, 38 and who hails from Derry in Northern Ireland, started dating in late 2013, having been introduced by their mutual friend, Ed Sheeran. In June 2014, the couple announced their engagement. Cox was previously married to actor David Arquette. The couple met on the set of Scream in 1995 and married four years later. In 2010, they announced they had separated after 11 years of marriage, but waited until 2012 to file for a divorce. Their divorce was finalised in May 2013. They share custody of their 10-year-old daughter Coco.
