They have been the subject of relationship rumours for a while, but in a new interview with the MailOnline, Lewis has said they remain "friends" and are not putting any pressure on themselves to define what their relationship actually is.
She explained: "We're civil. We speak and we see each other now and again so we're on good terms. We'll just see how it is.
"I don't know what you'd call it, we enjoy each other's company and we're spending some time together so there's no point putting a brand of 'boyfriend and girlfriend' on it in case it all goes wrong again."
The couple dated for six years, but separated shortly before they were due to start filming TOWIE. They both agreed to continue to appear in the show and in the recent series finale, the couple discussed their relationship, leading many to speculate that a potential reunion was on the cards.
