The Only Way Is Essex star has worked hard to keep the gender of her baby a secret, but over the weekend, she posted a photo about a gift she had received for the baby – with many quick to speculate that she subsequently unveiled whether she was having a boy or girl.
The image, which was shared to Instagram, shows a tiny pair of white slippers, with silver crowns on the toes. She captioned the picture: "How cute are these tiny slippers for my little pickle from @bababoomloughton come with a matching dressing gown! (sic)".
While the slippers appear to be gender-neutral, many of Mucklow's fans took the crown symbol to suggest that she was having a baby boy. They added that a recent photo she had posted of her new pram – a dark navy pram – further suggested a boy.
Mucklow has not commented on the speculation.
She and her fiancé, footballer Andy Carroll, confirmed they were expecting their first child together in December 2014. This is Billi's first child, while Carroll, 26, is also a father to two children from a previous relationship.
