Ronan Keating Engaged To Girlfriend

Ronan Keating has confirmed he is engaged to his girlfriend Storm Uechtritz.

The couple have been in a relationship for three years, having first met on the set of the Australian X Factor, where Keating was a judge and Uechtritz was a television executive.

The singer revealed the news in a new interview with Hello! magazine.

He said: "I proposed twice and she said yes both times, thank God. We've been together a few years now and knew we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. I felt it was the right time."

The first time he popped the question was during a holiday to Thailand, while the second proposal involved Keating's three children when the couple had returned to Ireland after their holiday. Explaining the decision, he said that he wanted his children to be involved because his new wife will be marrying into a family. His children are from his former marriage to Yvonne Connolly. The couple's divorce was finalised just last month, according to Evoke.ie.

Keating, 38, and Yvonne, 40, married in 1998 and have three children together; 16-year-old Jack, Missy, 14, and nine-year-old Ali. In 2010, their marriage was said to be in trouble after Keating had an affair with one of his backing dancers. The couple separated, but then reunited, only to go their separate ways the following year.
