The couple revealed their engagement over the Christmas holidays, following a five-month romance, but just last month the actress revealed they had to postpone their big day due to Manganiello's work commitments on his new movie, 'Magic Mike XXL'.
However, speaking to E! News, Vergara, 42, has said they have agreed on a date – and have done from the very beginning. When questioned by the network as to how the preparations were going, she replied: "You know, it takes time. It's gonna be something very important for me, so we're trying to do it right."
And on the date of their nuptials, she added: "Oh yeah, we knew since the beginning what date."
Vergara and Manganiello, 38, started dating in July 2014, shortly after Vergara ended her engagement to Nick Loeb. On Christmas Day, after five months together, Manganiello proposed during a holiday to Hawaii.
