Louis Smith has opened up about his relationship with Lucy Mecklenburgh, admitting that it is going "really well".
The couple, who first met during TV talent show 'Tumble' last year, confirmed they were an item shortly before Christmas. They made their public debut as a couple on Tuesday night (17 March), and speaking to ITV's 'Lorraine' today, the Olympic gymnast admitted the romance is going well.
He said: "Things are going very well actually, very happy. We complement each other very well.
"It is a very nice feeling. I haven't had this feeling in a long time so it's nice to kind of get on with someone really well."
The 25-year-old added that his mum also approved of his new girlfriend.
Smith and Mecklenburgh, 23, first met on celebrity talent show 'Tumble' in 2014; Mecklenburgh was a contestant while Smith was one of the judges, but the pair only started dating once the show ended. They confirmed their romance in December 2014.
