The couple started dating in November 2014, but it appears their relationship has come to an abrupt end – following revelations made during the latest episode of The Only Way Is Essex.
In the episode, Falcone, 27, was talking to his co-star Ferne McCann as they met in a florist to select Mother's Day flowers. The conversation soon came around to the star's relationship with McVey. However, despite having previously spoke of his love for his girlfriend, when questioned about his current relationship status, Falcone said: "It's just complicated at the minute. I don't know, there's still more to talk about me and her, and sort of establish where exactly we are."
McCann then asked him if he wanted to be set up on a date with Chloe Lewis, to which he replied: "You can't set me up with her yet. She's a very pretty girl there's no denying that. She would be my type, yeah. He [Jake Hall] should be counting his lucky stars that I'm not single because I will crack on with the ex."
Immediately after the episode aired, Falcone took to Instagram to share a loved-up snap of him kissing McVey. She, however, took to Twitter to criticise her partner.
The 26-year-old wrote: "Yes @Mario_Falcone did meet me straight after that scene with @fernemccann Be happy with your Essex girl I'm far too good for that."
She later tweeted: "You slate your friends for disrespecting people for air time. Wow @Mario_Falcone you almost fooled me."
Shortly afterwards, Falcone deleted the image from his Instagram account, but has not commented on whether the couple are still together.
