The actor welcomed a baby with his ex-girlfriend Catherine Harding.
It is understood Ms Harding gave birth to their daughter on Monday, but the news has only just been confirmed.
In a statement, a representative for Law, 42, said: "I can confirm the arrival of Jude Law and Catherine Harding's daughter. Both are delighted and continue to ask that their privacy and that of their child be respected."
No further details have been released.
It is understood Law and Harding, 23, had a brief relationship last year. They had spent six weeks together on location in the Czech Republic as Law filmed his latest movie, 'Spy'. The couple then separated, and it was later revealed that Harding was pregnant with their child. When news of her pregnancy broke last year, a representative for her former partner confirmed the couple were no longer together, but they were both "wholeheartedly committed to raising their child."
In addition to the new arrival, Law is a father to four. He has two sons, Rafferty and Rudy, and a daughter named Iris with his ex-wife Sadie Frost; while he is also a dad to Sophia, from his brief relationship with former girlfriend Samantha Burke.
