Shania's ex-husband, Robert Lange, left her in 2008 for her best friend Marie-Anne Thiébaud, after 14 years of marriage.
However, Shania married Marie-Anne's ex-husband Frédéric in 2011.
Appearing on Watch What happens Live this week, she was asked what she would say if she were to meet Marie-Anne by chance.
Shania said: "I'd say, 'I wish I’d never met you'."
However, Shania has already bumped into her and she explained what happened. She said: "You know, you panic in those situations. I didn't know what to do.
"I think there are just some people in life you would say, 'I wish I hadn’t met this person or I would have been better off not ever knowing that person'.
"But I can't say I would be better off because I think I learned a lot from all of that. I don’t regret it."
