Senator Averil Power has been selected as the Deputy Director of Elections.
The party has started a nationwide series of meetings for a YES vote.
FF Leader Deputy Micheál Martin has described the vote on 22nd May as an important moment for Ireland, which will be watched with interest around the world.
He said: "The question before voters on May 22nd goes to the heart of ensuring equal rights for all of our citizens. We strongly believe that all people should have an equal right to make the ultimate loving commitment that is marriage, regardless of the gender of their chosen partner.
"As a Republican party Fianna Fáil stands for an open and inclusive society, where the dignity and equality of every person is fully upheld. From the decriminalisation of homosexual acts in 1993 to the Civil Partnership Act of 2010, Fianna Fáil has played a pivotal role in legislating for key issues in the LGBT community. Providing people with an equal right to marry regardless of their sexuality is an important next step."
