Charlotte Crosby has denied claims she is engaged.
On Wednesday evening, the 'Geordie Shore' star announced her engagement on her Twitter account. Fans of Crosby were quick to offer their congratulations to her and her partner Mitch Jenkins.
Alongside the emoji of an engagement ring and a bride, she wrote: "OMG I SAID YES."
Her boyfriend also tweeted: "Only gone and got me self a ball and chain (sic)".
However, on Thursday Crosby followed up the message on the social networking site to say the couple were not getting married. It then soon emerged that Jenkins had taken her phone and published the message as a joke.
The 24-year-old explained: "Soooooooooooo don't ever let you Boyfriend get your phone when your drunk. I'm not engaged and believe me he will be punished today (sic)."
In September 2014, the couple announced they had separated after 18 months together, but they reunited a few months later, with Crosby posting a photo of them together to her social network accounts.
