Suzanne Shaw has revealed she is pregnant with her second child.
The singer-turned-actress shared her happy news via a video on her Twitter account. In the video,which was filmed just before Valentine's Day, but only shared today, Shaw reveals she is pregnant and then goes on to say she is about to surprise her fiancé – Sam Greenfield – with the news. Greenfield is then made to read out a poem, written by Shaw, before he finds a pregnancy test in a box that reads positive.
Reading the poem, the businessman said: "It's nearly Valentine's Day, it's really quite silly, my feelings for you are switching around willy nilly.
"I'm so happy, so happy, then I feel sad. I'm gloomy, I'm joyful, oh crap this is bad.
"My body is clammy, then I'm in a deep sweat. Sometimes I'm giddy, sometimes I fret.
"I'm looking for comfort deep in the fridge, recently I've wanted to jump off a bridge.
"What are the reasons for all of the above? Sam, I really do wish you the best of luck. Happy Valentine's Day."
An emotional Greenfield can then be seen embracing his partner.
The video continues and Shaw then says she has to let her son, 10-year-old Corey, find out he is going to be a big brother. The viewer sees the boy reading out a similar poem, before capturing his surprise at the news.
Shaw, who has been in a relationship with Greenfield since 2013, has since issued an official statement in relation to her pregnancy.
She said: "Sam and I are delighted to be expanding our family. I wanted to make the big reveal extra special for both Sam and Corey so I decided to video the occasion.
"We're all over the moon and can't wait to meet him or her when they arrive in October. It was definitely an extra special Valentine's Day for us!"
Shaw was formerly married to DJ Jason King. The couple, who started dating in December 2005, announced their engagement in August 2008 and married the following June in Dorset. In February 2012, a day before Valentine's Day, it was confirmed that the couple had separated. Prior to her marriage to King, Shaw was in a relationship with Darren Day. The pair have one son together, Corey, who was born in December 2004. On Mother's Day 2005, Day walked out of the family home, ending the couple's romance.
Shaw started dating Greenfield in 2013. After a whirlwind romance, the couple announced their engagement in June 2014.
