Sam Branson, the son of businessman Sir Richard Branson, has become a father for the first time.
Sam, and his wife Isabella Calthorpe, welcomed a baby girl on February 19, but details have only been released.
In a message on his official website Sir Richard wrote: "Delighted to share the wonderful news that Isabella and Sam are the proud parents of a new baby girl: Eva-Deia Branson.
"She was born at 4.39pm on February 19th, weighing 7.14oz. Joan and I are the luckiest grandparents alive to have three beautiful healthy grandkids in the space of two months, and Bellie's parents Mary Gaye and Jo are equally ecstatic."
He added that he had been spending time in the British Virgin Islands, but "had an instinct to catch the plane back to London". Within hours of arriving home, his third grandchild had arrived. He went on to say that the little girl has been named after Sam's grandmother Eve, and a village, Deia, found in Majorca where the Branson family have visited many times.
Sam Branson and Calthorpe married in March 2013. The birth of their first child comes just two months after Richard's daughter Holly and son-in-law Freddie Andrewes welcomed their first children together – twins Etta and Artie.
