Barney McGinley, 63, was shot outside a church in Newtownbutler last Wednesday (11 February) where a wedding was taking place at the time. Mr McGinley was airlifted to hospital in a PSNI helicopter but died from his injuries.
On Wednesday (18 February), detectives said a 46-year-old man had been arrested in Belfast and was being questioned in relation to the incident.
The man can be held until early on Saturday (21 February).

More Time To Question Wedding Suspect
Police have been granted more time to question a suspect in relation to the murder of a man in Co Fermanagh last week.Barney McGinley, 63, was shot outside a church in Newtownbutler last Wednesday (11 February) where a wedding was taking place at the time. Mr McGinley was airlifted to hospital in a PSNI helicopter but died from his injuries.
