The couple, who worked together for 10 years before becoming romantically involved, announced their engagement in November 2014.
They have continued to keep their romance out of the spotlight, but appearing on The Jonathan Ross Show at the weekend, Dec shared some details from his proposal. The television presenter, who popped the question when the couple were visiting an island off the coast of Australia, revealed: "It got to the last evening and we'd organised dinner on the beach and we went round to one side of the island, the only place on the island where you can see the sun set, and we just went round and we watched the sunset go down and we did it [the proposal] there. It was lovely."
Meanwhile, his long-term business sidekick and best friend, Ant McPartlin, has said he can't wait to step into the role of best man at the wedding.
He said: "I can't bloody wait! He was best man for me, I've been married eight years now. His speech was very good, very funny so I've got a lot to get him back with."
