George Clooney, 53, tied the knot with human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin, 37, last year and this is said to have inspired men as they look for that perfect woman.
In fact, some 87% of men admitted they would be happy with a woman who is more intellectual than them, and who earns more money. Almost half said they actively look for an "independent, career-driven woman", while 58% said they would also be happy if their partner was "considerably taller".
Elsewhere, the match.com study, which is said to have been the largest such study carried out in the US, found that women are now the more "picky" sex, while men are more romantic and more likely to fall in love faster.
