The 'Holby City' actress welcomed her first child last month, but has only spoken out about the birth in a recent interview with Hello! magazine.
However, her labour was not smooth sailing, as she told the publication: "Beau's hand and foot came out first and the surgeon had to turn her around to bring her out. It was pretty violent.
"Apparently I was very inappropriate and was shouting for drugs and screaming blue murder."
The 37-year-old, who plays Doctor Jac Naylor on the hospital drama, added that she had a caesarean because of a rare blood disorder, but insisted it "wasn't really like an episode of Holby City – not much!"
Marcel announced her pregnancy in August last year. She had discovered she was pregnant just two days before she was due to begin IVF treatment. She and her husband Ben Stacey decided to turn to IVF after she suffered a miscarriage in 2013.
