The couple, who are also co-stars on reality television show The Only Way Is Essex, separated in October after just a few months of dating.
At the time, Wright blamed his ex girlfriend's daughter for their split, saying she felt "pushed out" – a claim Sims hit out at.
During Wednesday night's episode of TOWIE the couple were still on rocky ground following their separation, as they chose to ignore each other on a group trip to Calais.
When on the ferry, Sims then decided to confide in her co-stars Bobby, Danielle and Lydia that she was angry her former partner had used her daughter Maddie as the reason they broke up.
She said: "We were going to see how things went, we were almost back to normal. But basically I feel like he used Maddie as an excuse."
When the couple did decide to try and talk out their issues, it was revealed the 32-year-old had flirted with another one of her ex's Mario Falcone during a night out. Despite storming out the room, Sims and Wright spent the night together talking, where the latter revealed he was ready to move on from their split.
His confession left Sims devastated, and she said: "He was in my room until 5am and he said he was going to move on and the thought of someone touching him... I can't stand it. He's still mine.
"I tried not to react to him meeting a girl before me, he said she's a 10/10. Ouch. The way he was talking was like we were mates... the way he was going on made me feel sick to my stomach."
She finally decided she'd had enough and confronted her ex at a Christmas party, where the admitted: "I want you. I've made a massive mistake. I don't want anyone touch you or have you. Can we be serious again?"
He replied: "I do still love you. We'll take things slow and we'll spend Christmas together."
Wright, 32, and Sims dated for four months earlier this year.
