Caroline Flack Dismisses Strictly Curse

Caroline Flack has dismissed claims about the so-called relationship 'curse' that accompanies the television talent show Strictly Come Dancing.

Over the years, the show has seen a number of relationships breakdown as some celebrities and their professional dance partner grew close and started dating.

However, speaking to the media at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Awards on Wednesday night, the television personality said she didn't believe in the curse. She added that she felt taking part in the show would actually make a relationship stronger.

When asked if she could relate to why so many contestants and their dance partners had started a relationship, she responded: "Not really. If you're spending time with someone, then if you like each other you're going to like each other. But if you're in a good, nice place in your relationship then I think it can only make a relationship better. Because I'm happier."

Flack is currently in a long-term relationship with Jack Street, a music manager, while her professional dance partner Pasha Kovalev is dating Rachel Riley – his dance partner from last year's show. The couple started dating after Riley separated from her husband shortly after the last series of Strictly Come Dancing came to an end.
