Sam Callahan has confirmed he is no longer dating Tamera Foster.
The couple met in 2013 when they both contestants on The X Factor.
Initially, the pair denied they were an item, but when they were both voted out of the talent show, they announced they were in a relationship.
Confirming the split on his website, Callahan, 20, said: "I just wanted to update my blog today with a short statement as something I had hoped to keep as a private matter has found its way into the public arena this morning.
"As some of you may or may not be aware Tamera and I parted ways a while back. Tamera is a fantastic person with incredible talent and I am looking forward to watching her grow as an artist and go on to have great success. I'm also really glad we've been able to remain close friends."
Foster has not commented on the news.
