In October, Ritchie was reportedly overheard saying he had reached "sixth base" with the posh singer, but she remained quiet on the claims. Shortly afterwards, her boyfriend Craig Wiffen hit out at the couple, exposing their alleged affair. Whichello and Wiffen have since separated.
Speaking to The Sun, 24-year-old Whichello confessed: "Stevi's a great guy. Our romance happened organically – we were talking about spiritual plains and then we kissed.
"It was very innocent. But to me, love should be unconditional. I made a mistake. You should be able to make a mistake and be forgiven."
She added that her former partner could not forgive her actions, but she doesn't feel any shame over her behaviour.
"I'm not ashamed of what I did," she stated, "because I believe it was part of God's divine plan. It probably didn't help that I didn't tell Craig straight away, but I didn't really have a chance to."
She is also quoted by the MailOnline as saying: "It's always upsetting to break up with someone, but I'm okay now. I had only known Craig for a few months, it's not like we had been together for years. He's clearly not the right person for me. What happened with Stevi wasn't the only reason we broke up."
