If the rumours are true, it will be the first child for the actress and her husband James Righton.
According to Star magazine, the actress is around the 12-week mark.
A source is also quoted by the publication as saying that the pregnancy wasn't planned, but the couple are "thrilled" at the news.
They said: "Keira and James are thrilled. This wasn't planned, but that is how they wanted it.
"Keira and her stylist have been putting together looks that hide her growing bump."
Knightley, 29, tied the knot with Righton, a member of The Klaxons, in a small intimate ceremony in France in May 2013. The couple started dating in February 2011 having met through a mutual friend.
