The television personality revealed the sad news on his Twitter account.
He told his followers: "It's with great sadness that I have to tell you are (sic) heartbreaking news, that unfortunately me and Nikki have lost our baby.
"I can safely say this has been the worst week of my life!! We will stay strong... Thanks for all your best wishes."
Wilkes, 36, first met Nikki in 1999. They married in 2004 in Los Angeles.
Their first son, Mickey, was born in April 2006.
