According to reports, the 23-year-old was arguing with former flame Megan Tomlin at her home in Essex. Osborne was later arrested on suspicion of assault.
A police spokesperson confirmed: "A 23-year-old man was arrested at around 11.30am on Monday 10 November. He was later released without charge."
It is not known what the alleged row was over, but it has been said that the former couple's relationship has been "strained" in recent months.
Osborne and Tomlin dated for around 18 months in 2013. They ended their relationship and Osborne started dating EastEnders' star Jacqueline Jossa, however they separated late last year when it was revealed the reality television star was expecting a child with his ex-girlfriend. Osborne and Tomlin's son, Teddy, was born earlier this year.
While the couple did not reunite, Osborne and Jossa did and in August it was revealed the actress was pregnant with their first child. The news is said to have been hard for Ms Tomlin to come to terms with and a source close to the young mum is quoted by Heat magazine as saying: "Megan is at breaking point. Dan makes out he's the perfect role model, but she thinks he's far from it."

Dan Osborne reportedly got into a fight with his ex-girlfriend earlier this week, which resulted in the TOWIE star being arrested.He has since been released without charge.
