The television personality was confirmed as one of the show's contestants earlier this week, but while the 44-year-old has said she is looking forward to taking part, she isn't looking for romance.
Sykes married Jack Cockings, 27, in May 2013 following a whirlwind romance. The pair met via Twitter after Cockings used the social networking site to ask the mum-of-two on a date. As their relationship developed, they continued to exchange a number of flirty – and sometimes explicit – messages on the site, before announcing they were engaged.
However, just six months after they married, the couple's romance came to an abrupt end after a violent row broke out – with Sykes being arrested and cautioned for assault.
The common assault caution was later removed from police records, it is understood.
Now, speaking to Mark Jeffries of the Daily Mirror, Sykes said she is ready to put the relationship behind her.
She said: "I am ready to move on but I've got no interest in front of millions of people with my sons watching. It would just be a little bit weird. So, no, I doubt that's going to happen."
Prior to her marriage to Cockings, Sykes has two children from her first marriage to Italian actor Daniel Caltagirone. The couple married in 2001 and welcomed their first son, Roman, the following year. Their second son, Valentino, was born in 2004. In 2008, it was reported that Sykes and Caltagirone had separated and in June 2009, the pair divorced.
