According to The Sun, Collins was left with bruising following the row, while her house was also damaged by her partner, Alex Moss.
It is understood police were called to the home of Ms Collins on Saturday, while an ambulance was also sent to the scene, but she did not require hospital treatment.
Collins and Moss have known each other for more than 10 years and dated for a while when they were younger. They separated, but it is thought they started a relationship again in August, shortly after Moss completed a jail sentence for conspiring to supply drugs.
The incident comes just days before the 33-year-old is due to head to Australia to take part in this year's 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'.
A source is quoted by the publication as saying: "Gemma is badly shaken. Her relationship with Alex has always been destructive but it's never escalated this far. She remains focused on going into the jungle but it's hardly the best preparation."
Another source is quoted by The Mirror as saying: "She is not in a good way and has been badly hurt and her house has been smashed up. Gemma has known Alex for a long time, they are very close but she is deeply hurt and distressed."
