Rachel Bilson Welcomes First Child

Rachel Bilson and her boyfriend Hayden Christensen have welcomed their first child.

The couple, who are in a long-term relationship, welcomed a baby girl last month, but details have only just emerged.

A representative for Bilson, 33, confirmed the birth to E! News. In a short statement, they said both mum and baby are "healthy and doing well".


They also revealed the little girl's name – Briar Rose.

Bilson and Christensen met in 2007 on the set of movie 'Jumper', and became engaged the following year. In 2010, the couple ended their relationship, only to reconcile a few months later. In May, it was reported the couple were expecting their first child together.
