Katona and Croft married in February 2007 and have two children together. Their daughter, Heidi, was born just six days after their wedding, while their son Max was born in April 2008. However, the following year the couple announced they were to divorce. They briefly reconciled, but in 2011 their divorce was finalised.
The Atomic Kitten singer has since re-married and is now with George Kay, but it has been claimed that Katona is battling her ex for custody of their children. It is thought the custody battle has heated up lately after Croft was found to have been growing £50k worth of cannabis at his house. He later pleaded guilty.
According to the Daily Star, a source is quoted as saying: "Kerry really has had enough. She is hoping that if Mark goes to prison in January he will drop the whole case of fighting for joint custody of the children.
"The way she sees it is that if he can grow drugs in his house, then it really isn't a place for her children to be going and she is hoping that the judge will see it the same way too.
"Mark has barley seen the children for the last few years. When they first split up he would drive down south to pick them up, or she'd bring them up north so he could see them and spend tie with them at weekends and on holidays. But things have been really bad between them for the last few years."
Katona is a mum of five; Molly, 12, and Lilly Sue, 11, from her first marriage to Brian McFadden, and Heidi, seven and six-year-old Max from her second marriage to Mark Croft. In April 2014, she welcomed her first child with husband George Kay – a daughter named Dylan Jorge.
