Ronan Keating has admitted he and his girlfriend, Storm Uechtritz, have discussed marriage.
The couple have been in a relationship for a couple of years and the singer has praised his partner for helping him through some difficult times in his life. His former Boyzone bandmate Stephen Gately died in 2009 and his marriage to Yvonne Connolly broke down in 2011 after he was alleged to have been unfaithful – however, it is his current partner he has credited with helping him get his life back on track.
Speaking to Hello! magazine, 37-year-old said he was "ready to start living" again.
He explained: "Storm understood me and was there and it was everything to me.
"We became real good friends, and the chemistry got greater and greater and over time one thing led to another. I've never known anything like it – she's my best friend."
He continued: "I feel like I'm on the climb again, I'm feeling like it's a bit of a rebirth for me, like I'm having a renaissance and a lot of that is down to Storm. I'm in a great place and I'm ready to start living."
Ms Uechtritz, 32, added: "We've both found our soulmate and we know that we are going to spend the rest of our lives together. He's amazing; I love him.
"We've talked about having a baby and it is a possibility for us, yes."
Keating tied the knot with former Irish model Yvonne Connolly in April 1998. The couple have three children together; Jack, Marie and Ali. The couple's marriage came to an end in 2011 after Keating was alleged to have had an affair. In April 2012, they confirmed they had separated.
