For brides-to-be, the top three hen party destinations are said to be Marbella, Barcelona and Majorca. The Spanish destinations are well-known for their party reputation and this is exactly what women plan to do on their one last hurrah. Men on the other hand, while they too might indulge in a lot of alcohol on their stag do, they are also more likely to visit European cities famous for their strippers and prostitutes.
According to the research, men prefer to plan a trip to Prague, Riga or Amsterdam, cities that are well-known for their sex industry.
For example, in 2013, a BBC Three documentary suggested that one in two men sleep with a prostitute during a stag do to Prague. Prostitution is legal in the Czech Republican city.
Looking closer to home, the top UK destinations for a hen or stag do are Brighton, London and Edinburgh.
