Charlie Sheen has confirmed he has separated from his fiancé Brett Rossi.
The actor released a statement to Radar Online, confirming the news.
He said: "Scotty [Rossi] and I had a great year together as we travelled the world and crossed a lot of things off our bucket list.
"She's a terrific gal, but we've mutually decided to go our separate ways and to not spend the rest of our lives together."
He went on to say: "I've decided that my children deserve my focus more than a relationship does right now. I still have tremendous fondness for Scotty and I wish her all the best."
Sheen, 49, and Rossi, 25, announced their engagement in February 2014 after the couple took a romantic trip to Hawaii on Valentine's Day weekend and the former 'Two And A Half Men' star popped the question.
This would have been the fourth marriage for Sheen. His first marriage was in 1995 to Donna Peele but they separated a year later. In June 2002, Sheen married actress Denise Richards. The couple have two daughters, Sam and Lola, together. In March 2005, Richards filed for divorce, accusing Sheen of alcohol and drug abuse and threats of violence. Their separation was finalised in November 2006.
In May 2008, the actor tied the knot for the third time. He married Brooke Mueller and the couple have twin sons, Bob and Max. In November 2010, Sheen filed for divorce. It was finalised the following May.
