Armstrong has been dating her co-star James Locke for around a year, but recently the couple's relationship is said to have been in trouble. As the new series of TOWIE aired on Wednesday night, the problems in the couple's relationship were revealed, when Danielle said she had lost her unborn baby.
She told her friends: "We went to have our first scan and the doctors told me I was in the middle of having a miscarriage.
"When I found out I was pregnant, I didn't know whether I wanted to keep it. I didn't want to bring a baby into our relationship when all we were arguing so much. But I lost it anyway."
She then hit out at her partner, claiming he was not there for her after the miscarriage.
"He's made me hate him," she told co-star Chloe Sims. "I really needed him to stay with me and I assumed he would. But he got on a flight and went abroad to work, leaving me just to get on with it. It was horrible. I'm so angry at him."
Locke was later seen giving his thoughts on the tragedy. Speaking to his friend and fellow TOWIE co-star Bobby Cole, he confessed: "Danni hasn't stopped crying and it's all because of me. I just f**k everything up that I love.
"Don't get me wrong, I didn't think it was the right time for us to have a baby but for that choice to be taken away from her was devastating.
"After it happened, I asked if it was okay to go to work and she said yes – so I thought it was cool. But when I came back, she wasn't fine at all. She was in bits."
When the couple finally decided to have a heart-to-heart, they both realised the future of their relationship is uncertain, with Locke saying: "I feel like we've both got a lot of issues and that's why we're on the rocks. I love you so much but I don't know how we are going to get from where we are now to where we want to be."
