The Only Way Is Essex star Lydia Bright has said she is "close" to her co-star James 'Arg' Argent.
However, she denied reports that the couple are once again dating.
The on-off couple have been the subject of speculation for a number of weeks after they were spotted looking close as they spent time in Ibiza filming scenes for the new series of TOWIE.
Then, appearing on This Morning on Friday, Arg was said to have been walking around backstage topless. When asked why this was, he said: "I didn't have time to iron my shirt so I kindly asked a lady to iron it for me. I was in a rush, me and Lydia had a sleepover last night..."
His co-star, however, insisted they did not share the same bed, and accused Arg of snoring.
Bright was pushed on the issue by host Eamonn Holmes on whether they are a couple, but said: "We're not official, but we're getting on. We're pretty close. I've got to test the water first."
