The couple will tie the knot in a civil ceremony in Venice.
On Thursday, a notice was shared which revealed the couple were to marry in the next couple of days. However, the notice was also advising local residents that a number of streets around the town hall in Venice will close for a couple of hours on Monday to facilitate the ceremony.
It is understood, due to concerns over public safety as well as the interest the high-profile wedding will draw, police have requested restrictions be placed around Ca'Farsetti and Ca'Loredan, the historic buildings which houses the council.
Few other details have been released about the couple's big day, but Walter Veltroni, the former mayor of Rome and a good friend of the Hollywood actor, is thought to be officiating at the ceremony.
Clooney, 53, and Alamuddin, 36, a human rights lawyer based in London, announced their engagement in April. They are thought to have started dating in October 2013.
