Terri Seymour Expecting First Child

Terri Seymour has revealed she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Clark Mallon.

The television presenter confirmed her baby news to Hello! magazine on Monday.

Seymour, 39, confessed: "It has been quite hard to keep it under wraps. We haven't told many people. It's going to become so much more real when everyone knows."

"We were trying to get pregnant, so this is the best news ever," she added.

The couple have been in a relationship for three years, and Mallon added: "To start with, it was quite a lot to get my head around – it's such a life-changing event – but now I can't wait to be a dad and start my family with Terri. She has just started to show and it's very exciting."

Seymour, who famously dated Simon Cowell for six years, remains good friends with the music mogul and said that he was one of the few people she told about her pregnancy.

She told the publication: "He's so thrilled for us. We were having dinner in LA and I told him and he was over the moon. Actually, immediately after congratulating me the first thing he said was he had to be the godfather.

"Then he said it was perfect timing with his son Eric being so young and he hoped I would have a baby girl so he could set her up with Eric and they could date. 'How perfect would that be,' he said. Typical Simon."
