The Only Way Is Essex star revealed his thoughts on the matter in an interview with the MailOnline.
The 24-year-old was pressed about his relationship with co-star Lauren Pope, 31, when the subject of children came up.
He admitted that while it wasn't an issue at the moment, it could be in the future due to the couple's age difference.
He explained: "Lauren isn't the sort of person who reveals all of her cards at once. She's someone that likes to take her time.
"She hasn't mentioned anything to me about it yet, but as she's older than I am, she might be thinking about having kids before I'm ready to.
"I certainly don't want a family for a while yet. I'd have a baby in two or three years at the very earliest."
He continued: "The age difference between me and Lauren might cause a rift at some point.
"Before we got together, I took a test to figure out what my recommended age range is when it comes to dating and the oldest woman I can date is 34. Lauren is 31 at the moment so we should be okay."
