According to the MailOnline, 20-year-old Charlie Fisher was in a relationship with Becky Connery, 17, Lizzie Leeland-Cunningham, 19, and another girl who does not wish to be named. While the women did have their suspicions about Fisher, who is a supermarket assistant, he managed to date all three for around six months before they discovered his infidelity.
Speaking to the publication, Ms Connery explained: "I'd known Charlie for three years but started seeing him in March, and early on we had the conversation that we weren't seeing anyone else, that we were exclusive.
"I was in love with him, and he said he was in love with me, but I had my suspicions from the start. He was very protective of his phone, he wouldn't let me put pictures of me and him on social networks, he deleted comments I made about us – looking back, he was very shady."
The night before Fisher was due to go on holiday, Becky was with him. She had picked up her boyfriend's phone and found a message from a girl named Lizzie, which read: "I will meet you later."
Becky's suspicions intensified when her partner, who described Lizzie as just a friend, then asked her to go home early because he needed to finish packing for his trip. The next day, when Fisher left to go visit family in Germany, Becky tracked down the mysterious Lizzie via Twitter and sent her a message.
The girls quickly realised they were both in a relationship with the same man. However, they then discovered there was a third woman whom Mr Fisher had been dating since April. After contacting her, the three decided to meet. After comparing notes, they found out that when Fisher claimed he was seeing friends or family, he was actually seeing one of them, and they decided to confront their boyfriend over his cheating.
"Charlie had asked all three of us, separately, to meet him at the airport when he came back, but we'd all said no," Becky said. "Talking about that gave us the idea, and we knew when he was getting back as he'd asked us to meet him, so we made a joint decision to all go to the airport on Saturday."
Despite his shock at seeing his three girlfriends waiting for him, Mr Fisher made a quick retreat from Luton Airport to the car park where his grandmother, who had come to collect him, was waiting. Fisher has not commented on the reports, and while he is no longer dating any of the above-mentioned women, all three girls are now said to be good friends.
