Hayden Panettiere has confirmed she is pregnant.
The 25-year-old revealed her happy news moments before she became the latest celebrity to partake in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
In a short video, which was uploaded to Twitter and Instagram, the actress could be heard saying: "I accept my ALS Challenge. I renominate Kacey Musgraves – you're not getting out of this."
She then added that she nominated Wladimir Klitschko – her fiancé – and her "unborn child".
After being dunked with a large bucket of water, the actress squealed "Holy shhhh... Yup, that's cold." Derek Hough, who is currently a guest star on tv show Nashville, of which Panettiere also stars in, can be seen laughing at his friend in the background.
Hough was responsible for uploading the video to Twitter and Instagram, and alongside the footage he joked: "Hayden shortly went into labor after this... Jus kiddin (sic)."
The actress has been at the centre of pregnancy rumours for a couple of months after she was spotted with what appeared to be a baby bump, but it is thought this is the first time she has directly addressed the claims.
Panettiere confirmed her engagement to Klitschko in October 2013, but it is thought the boxer proposed a few months previously. The couple started dating in 2009 but separated in 2011. They reunited in January 2013.
