Speaking to The Sun, the 79-year-old is quoted as saying: "What happens in Paul's private life is down to Paul. What I do want is to see Paul happy – he deserves that. Alex is lovely and a great mum and they've got a lovely little boy."
Paul, 47, and his wife Alexandra, 49, separated in July 2013 after 15 years of marriage after it emerged the baker had been having an affair with his fellow 'The American Baking Competition' presenter Marcela Valladolid.
After confessing to his infidelity, Hollywood was determined to keep his family together and last December it was revealed the couple had reunited.
At the time, Paul told the Daily Mirror: "I'm lucky to have this chance. I'm very well and in a good place. I love Alex to bits, she is amazing. I'm loving being with my family again, they are everything to me."
