The 40-year-old was said to have started dating the stockbroker earlier this year. It is thought he is the first man Van Outen has been involved with since she separated from her husband Lee Mead in July 2013.
However, in an interview with The Times' Times 2 magazine, she admitted: "I don't want anything serious. My diary is nuts... It's typical. I've spent all these years wanting to settle down."
The mum-of-one also dismissed reports that she would like to have more children, replying: "I don't think so. No. I've been very blessed with my little girl. She has grown up so fast.
"They grow up so quickly - she starts school in September. I can't believe it. I'm excited about her starting school."
Van Outen and Mead first met in 2007 when the latter was a contestant on television talent show Any Dream Will Do. Van Outen was a judge on the same programme. Following a whirlwind romance, the pair married in the Seychelles in 2009, and welcomed their daughter Betsy the following year. In July 2013, the couple confirmed their marriage had ended.
