Taking to her Twitter account to confirm the news, the 33-year-old told her fans: "So proud to welcome our beautiful daughter Summer Rain Rutler into the world."
The message was retweeted by her fiancé Matt Rutler.
Aguilera first announced her pregnancy in February – just a week after she unveiled her engagement. Summer is the couple's first child together, while Aguilera is also a mum to six-year-old Max from her former marriage to Jordan Bratman.
