According to Us Weekly, the couple first met in 2010 and they had a "professional" relationship first, but recently it developed into something more. The publication added that Falchuk, 43, separated from his wife of 10 years early last year, while Paltrow herself ended her 10-year marriage to Chris Martin in March.
It has also been reported that the new couple were spotted enjoying a romantic dinner in LA recently where a witness described them as "flirty".
Paltrow, 41, and Martin, 37, announced earlier this year they had decided to "consciously uncouple" and end their marriage. They have remained close friends since their separation and have two children together, Apple, 10, and eight-year-old Moses.
