Peter Andre has admitted he attended relationship counselling when he started dating Emily MacDonagh.
Andre, 41, started dating 24-year-old MacDonagh in 2012 and it has now emerged that the singer-turned-television personality had commitment issues when they got together.
According to Now magazine, he said: "Therapy really helped me but, ultimately, it was Emily who got me through it."
He also opened up on fatherhood, gushing about his seven-month-old daughter Amelia. "It's great seeing little Mills growing into a true beaut," he admitted. "I'm so grateful to be having the quality time with her I so wished for. She's a really happy, content child."
Andre and MacDonagh welcomed their first child together – Amelia – in January, just days after the couple announced their engagement. Andre is also a father to Junior, eight, and Princess, six, from his previous marriage to Katie Price.
