Speaking to the Daily Star, the former TOWIE star also admitted that they are well underway with preparations for the big day.
He said: "We are halfway through the wedding plans and are both so excited about it. We can't wait.
"We have chosen the venue and the date. It's not in Essex or Manchester but I'm not allowed to say where. All the big things have been sorted, it's just the little bits now."
He added that the couple are having a "normal" ceremony. "I won't be coming down in a helicopter or horse-drawn carriage though," he continued. "It will just be a normal civil wedding for family and friends."
Wright, 27, and his fiancé, also 27, started dating in December 2012 after having met at a New Year's Eve party in Dubai. They announced their engagement in September 2013.
