The former Harry Potter star is well-known for keeping his personal life out of the spotlight, but in a recent interview with People.com, he discussed romance.
Radcliffe, 25, and Darke first met in 2012 on the set of Kill Your Darlings, and started dating soon after. The actor, who admitted the relationship is going from strength to strength, attributed it to their strong friendship. He added that his own parents, Alan and Marcia, were also good friends before they started dating.
He told the publication: "I'm going out with my best friend at the moment. And that's, I think, the way it should be. My mum and dad were best friends before they started dating, and now they've been married for 30-something years.
"So, I think it is a very natural thing. If you can get to a point where you're dating or married to somebody you consider your best friend, that's what will make it work."
