Speaking on ITV's Good Morning Britain, the 25-year-old said: "I've got my hen do next weekend so I'm so excited and can't wait to see what the girls have in store for me. I don't know anything so I'm a little bit scared. But I'm more scared about Harry's stag though than my hen."
The swimmer also touched on her wedding day, but didn't give many details away, instead she said: "It's just a normal wedding, it's really small. Just family and friends gathering."
Adlington and her fiancé, fellow swimmer Harry Needs, announced their engagement in March 2013. They have been in a relationship since 2011.
At the time of the proposal, she said her partner made her "the happiest person ever".
