In 2012, it was alleged that Defoe had cheated on his partner with a model called Laura Brown. However, Burke has shrugged off the scandal insisting she would date a footballer again. In addition to Defoe, the singer has also previously dated Dominique Jean-Zephirin.
Speaking to Closer magazine, she said: "I've not sworn off footballers – I just go with the flow when it comes to my love life. I've been single a couple of years now and am not bothered about men at the moment."
Last year, there was speculation that the 25-year-old was dating actor Jeremy Piven after they were spotted together, but Burke insists that is not the case.
"When I was photographed with Jeremy, that was not a date – it was just two friends hanging out and I have a lot of time and respect for him. My love life is boring."
