In April, the mum-of-two confirmed she had ended her engagement with Aaron Barnham. A reason for the separation has not been giving, but just last month, the former X Factor star said it had been "very upsetting".
Solomon, 24, also has not been on a date since the end of her romance but said: "I can't say it's something I enjoy but I'm a positive person and I'm happy to be just me."
However, she admitted that she would stay away from dating apps and rather just let love come naturally.
"I really don't know," she said. "I just let it happen the way it happens.
"I'm not trying too hard for anything really. There's no point looking is there?
"You never find it, so I might as well shut my eyes."
Solomon and Barnham started dating in 2009 and became engaged in 2011. Shortly after, they announced they were expecting their first child together. Their son, Leighton, was born in May 2012. Solomon is also a mother to Zachary, six, from a previous relationship.
